Bat House

Our Bat House is constructed using heavy-duty 5/8″ recycled high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE). It features 3 chambers with machined grooves to provide permanent traction for climbing, instead of plastic netting or wire-cloth which can tear or separate from walls and potentially harm the bats.  It can be easily cleaned, inside and outside, for improved hygiene.

Bats are currently threatened and are a very necessary part of our ecosystem.  They help control the insect population and reduce the need for chemical pesticides on crops and to control disease-carrying mosquitoes.  They are also very important pollinators for crops.  Healthy agriculture depends on bats, and we depend on healthy agriculture.  Support local bat colonies any you’re supporting your own future.
